SSS Number Coding Scheme: A Quick and Easy Guide

The Social Security System (SSS) implemented a number coding scheme to help manage the number of people who visit their branches. This scheme assigns a specific day of the week for members to transact with SSS based on the last digit of their SSS number.

Example: SS number is 48-2834427-6, and the 10th digit is “6” which means that the day of the appointment is every Wednesday.
